Was looking forward to explore Carson Valley, NV at the Carson Tahoe Moto ADV Rally this summer. Only had time for 3 days, but wow - it is some beautiful roads and scenery up there. Will definitely be back.
The ride up from the Bay Area was actually really nice. I had read good things about Ebbetts Pass so took that route to get to our base camp at the Carson Valley Inn. Great ride, but interrupted by some construction along the way. It seemed like we were waiting at this stop for a long time. I had enough time to get out my phone and take a photo.
It cleared up a bit and started the twisting Hwy 4. Somehow I got a little lost (as usual) and ended up connecting to Monitor Pass.
Made it to the Motor Lodge.
Had a bit of time to walk over to the meetup area and saw the Carducci Dualsport, a real work of art.
