Motorcyclist Magazine recently posted an ADV bike comparo that appears to be pretty street-biased.
Even though the Yamaha SuperTen, Triumph Tiger Explorer, Kawasaki KLR, etc were excluded, we know there are many ADV options out there, which was the inspiration behind our Choices Tee. There are always compromises when riding dual sport - the bike that handles the best in the dirt may be a pain to ride on the highway. And the bike that can carve canyons or carry the most luggage may be difficult to handle once venturing offroad. But we still believe the best bike is the bike you're riding. After all, that's part of what makes it an adventure!
