We recently received some new carbon fiber side panels for the Stradafighter so we reinstalled the infamous beak for a test fit. After a 2,000-mile round trip from SF to Baja riding dual sport, the beak was still in good shape! I think it does work better on a black / carbon bike though.
One thing that was still missing for our project bike was mirrors, and we turned to Rottweiler Performance for their Quick Flip Mirror Mount kit, which uses the CRG Lanesplitter bar end mirrors. It's a great solution because the kit integrates well with the Touratech hand guards, and when folded in almost create a Hypermotard-ish style feel.
The mirrors themselves are excellent quality - crystal clear and have a surprisingly wide viewing angle. No vibration either, as we checked during a test ride.
One fun detail was to create a decal for the front fender based on the Ducati Corse badge - we designed a very small run and shared them recently with some of our "Dirty Ducatista" friends out there.
Check out our FlexFit 210 cap, available here. Stay tuned for future updates!
Don't think Ducatis should be ridden on dirt? ADV addicts know better.
